According to research file, changing even a single string size requires to move _all_ offsets everywhere after that string. I didn't check other languages except Japanese where they use Unicodeīoth of these things mean that if your language must use Unicode like mine, then without changing string sizes in EXD file you'll have twice less space for your strings than in English. However in English version they're using standard 1 byte per symbol.
